Aqueous Adhesives are frequently used for flocking. The main advantages to using an Aqueous adhesive include their ability to air dry/cure, be thinned using only water, and being non-flammable and less volatile than solvent-based adhesives.
They are easy to dispose of and clean up and have less health and safety implications compared to solvent-based products.
